This preaching series will spend 12 weeks unpacking the core messages of the
book of First Corinthians. Paul writes to a church that has power and influence.
Its’ doing well (“enriched in every way”). But their spiritual wealth is being
corrupted by fleshly lives and approach to relationships.
Paul calls them away from pride to humility, away from self to love, and away
from division to unity. This is the way of the cross and following Christ’s
example applies to all matters of life. For, when we are weak, He is strong.
The goal of this series is to lift our eyes to our spiritual wealth in Christ, and
how we must carry it in our everyday lives, through the way of the cross.
